Zim Open 2016/17 kicks off…!

Zimbabwe Open Chess tournament organized by the Zimbabwe Chess Federation (ZCF) kicked off on Saturday the 31st of December 2016. Venue is the traditional POSB Causeway in Harare. Its going to be an 8 round event ending on Monday the 2nd of January 2017, and 96 participants are battling for honours with the 1st prize being US$400. On the time of posting the 6th round is underway and here is the top 5 board pairing:
