Thank you all for coming..! As Knights Chess Academy we always believe that this ancient strategic board game has important life lessons/skills. Champions or Masters of this game have sometimes failed many times prior to their eventual success or stardom. “Never give up!…You might regret ‘not trying’..”
If something is IMPORTANT ENOUGH you should try, even if the probable outcome is failure. And *never give up!
As we help in shaping our community in our very small way we share the following quotes by Masters in their own areas…
If you never want to be criticized, for goodness’ sake don’t do anything new,…I knew that if I failed I wouldn’t regret that, but I knew the one thing I might regret is *’not trying.’*
Our all time Knights Academy legend Zhemba joined us today at our ghetto base Cabal Christian College, Gazaland Highfield. Back in 2016 he was denied a chance to join the Zim National Chess team (he was withdrawn on the last minute!) to take part in the Baku Azerbaijan Olympiad (the largest World Chess Team event)…But he kept on working hard-won the Zim Championship (Aug 2017- Aug 2018)…and in 2018 he was part of the Zim team that had a scintillating performance in the Batumi Georgia Chess Olympiad.
..So keep trying failure is just a temporary setback.!
