HOME SWEET HOME…

CABAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE though a 1 star venue as compared to the 5 star Hellenic Cultural Centre in Eastlea where Knights Academy opened a Chess Centre, well let the truth be told Cabal Christian College is still the best!, a sweet home among the ghetto youths…"chess is still in the air" at the Knights Ghetto base very convenient to Glen Norah, Highfield, Budiriro, Warren Park young Knights Chess enthusiasts….our base shall not die! Lets meet there Saturdays from 10am to 4pm and enjoy our game of Chess.

Training Centre: Cabal Christian College, Gazaland Highfield (Next to The Island) Harare. Come lets prepare for the upcoming National Primary Schools Championships to be held at Alfred Beit Primary School in Mabelreign from the 27th to the 29th of May 2016.

Alfred Beit Primary School in conjunction with Zimbabwe Chess Federation invites you to the National Team Selection Tournament to be held at Alfred Beit School in Mabelreign Harare from 27-29 May 2016. The selected players will represent Zimbabwe at the AFRICA YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS IN PORT ELIZABETH, SOUTH AFRICA, from 20-28 August 2016.

This selection is for both boys and girls, under 8 (born 01.01.2008 and after), under 10 ( born 01.01.2006 and after) and under 12 (born 01.01.2004 and after). All participating schools are to check in on Friday 27 May 2016 14:00hrs. Accomodation and meals will be available for each player and coach for $20 while registration fee for the tournament will be $5.

Therefore each individual player will pay $25 while each coach will pay $20.

Programme:

DAY ONE:

Fees payment: 2pm – 4pm
Supper :5pm – 6pm
1st round : 6pm – 8pm

DAY TWO:

Breakfast: 6am – 6:30am
2nd round: 7am -9am
3rd round: 9:30am – 12pm
Lunch : 12pm -1pm
4th round: 1pm – 3pm
5th round: 3pm – 5pm
Supper: 6pm – 6:30pm
6th round: 7pm – 9pm

DAY THREE:
Breakfast: 7am – 7:30am
7th and final round: 7:30am – 9:30am

12PM departure from playing venue

REGISTRATION BEGINS NOW!!!!!!!!
No registration will take place on 27 Mayexcept payment of gazetted fees. Registration closes on Thursday 26 May 3pm.
