The best Knights Legend ever Zhemba Jemusse became the new Zimbabwe Chess Champion the finest in the Land!! A true historic moment for our humble Academy which started to run in Jan 2011.He had an incredible unbeaten run of 5 wins and 4 draws scoring 7/9! He hammered strong players;Spencer Masango, Emarald Mushore, Bismark Bhobhojani, Tapiwa Jele and in the last round Elisha Thabo ‘The Russian’. Zhemba had draws vs Heath Darare, Vitalis Mapuranga, Roy Mwadzura and Elisha Chimbamu. His last round opponent Thabov ‘The Russian’ had special words to say for the new Zimbabwean Champ, " Zhemba played well…I couldn’t stop his winning spree."
